1. Qualification or equivalent experience
Master of Commerce from UNSW, Bachelor of Economics, recognised technical credentials and more than 20 years of enterprise technology leadership.
2. AI/ML and advanced technology team leadership
Regional leadership of 15+ across six countries at Unisys, cross-functional technical leadership at AWS and operational discipline from HPE.
3. Strategy translated into roadmaps
Strategic intent connected to architecture, operating model, investment sequencing, governance, delivery standards and capability uplift.
4. AWS and Azure AI/ML services
Deep AWS experience with practical enterprise knowledge of Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Power Platform and API Management.
5. Operational performance
Service definitions, SLAs/SLOs, observability, incident/problem governance, capacity planning and continual improvement.
6. AI product evaluation
Clarify outcome, test architecture and integration, assess security and Responsible AI, examine ownership and cost, then scale, remediate or stop.
7. Stakeholder leadership
Advised 50+ CIOs and worked across engineering, architecture, product, security, privacy, commercial and operational groups.
8. Communication and reporting
Reporting focused on what changed, what is performing, what is at risk, what decisions are required and what action follows.
9. Health and safety
Recognition and control of physical and psychosocial hazards through realistic sequencing, role clarity, escalation and workload management.
